Trainers

All of our trainers use rewards based training methods. They understand that no two dogs and no two families are the same. They will work with you to find the right solutions for you and your dog.

Michelle and Aki

Michelle

Michelle has been training agility dogs for over eleven years. She has also competed in agility, tricks and canine hoopers with her now retired stubborn but sweet dog Nami.

Michelle also enjoys teaching dog tricks in her spare time and is currently studying to become a Certified Trick Dog Instructor. Michelle and Nami were successfully awarded both their Novice and Intermediate Trick Dog Titles before Nami retired.

Ongoing professional development including courses and mentoring ensures that Michelle’s skills are always improving and that she is up to date with the current best practice in dog training. Completing a range of qualifications has allowed Michelle to expand her dog training expertise to include the exciting new area of games based concept training. This area takes the idea of positive, rewards based dog training and goes a step further to make training something that is not just about obedience, but about actually having fun and building better relationships with your dogs.

Michelle has a special interest in teaching canine hoopers and teaching kids and canine s classes. She is also committed to creating a safe space for students of various abilities, challenges and strengths to succeed with their dogs. In the interests of increasing the quality of dog trainers in Australia, Michelle also mentors up and coming trainers.
