Puppy School

We have exciting new opportunities for puppy training!

You have your new puppy and you want to ensure it has the best start in life. After all, great foundations lead to better outcomes. Join our experienced trainers and learn not only how to get your dog to sit, but how to do it with kindness and get great long term results.

We often get asked our thoughts on play in class. Play is one part of the puppy socialisation puzzle. We work to identify the play mates that will suit the individual needs of your puppy and set up actively supervised and well matched play sessions. This allows us to protect the optimism of your puppy, but also for you to learn about what is appropriate in play.

What age is appropriate for my puppy to start? Generally speaking, the earlier you start, the better for your puppy’s socialisation periods. We accept puppies who are aged between 8 weeks and 16 weeks of age when starting puppy classes. If your puppy is outside of these guidlines, please contact us and we will assess the suitability of the class for your puppy individually.

We recommend that puppies starting classes have had at least one vaccination, but prefer two. We ask that puppies in these classes are not taken out and about to minimise the risk to all puppies in our classes. If your puppy is ready to go out and about, please talk with us first as we may need to change the class you are enrolled into.

We have two puppy classes available. Monday puppy classes are in Byford and Wednesday puppy classes are in Canning Vale. Both are in Vet practices.
